Football Training Sessions for the Under 6’s

Training sessions for the Under 6’s are commencing on Wednesday 2 April at Athersley Sports Centre at 5.30pm.

The cost will be £2 per child and will be held indoors by qualified FA Coaches who are CRB checked. For further information please contact Allen Hitchen on 07808 871514.

The club is based at Redfearn Sports Ground in Monk Bretton, Barnsley.

The ethos of our Football Club is to encourage, facilitate and promote playing the game of football in a safe and controlled environment, giving this opportunity to as many young people as possible between the ages of 6 and 16 who live in and around the Barnsley area.

Through developing an affinity with the club and participation in football it is hoped we will promote a strong spirit of competitive sportsmanship and friendship.

We fully support the current F.A. campaign to "Kick Racism Out Of Football"

We are an inclusive club and as such we will not tolerate any racist, homophobic, anti religeon or any other form of discriminatory language or behaviour whatsoever.

No dogs (other than guide dogs) are allowed in the sports ground. This is for reasons of Health and Safety, to safeguard against dog fouling on the playing areas - where our children play football.

This web site has been set up not only as a source of information but also with a view to promote our club on a world wide stage, make new contacts and form new and lasting relationships with other clubs.
