COALFIELDS REGENERATION To sustain our current standard and look to progress further we have looked at sourcing external financial support and were successful in receiving a Bridging the Gap grant from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT). The grant was awarded so that we can provide FA coaching, winter training facilities, equipment and clothing, and First Aid courses.
The project will benefit all existing players and coaches providing them with excellent training facilities, equipment and clothing enabling them to progress and develop their skills further. In addition, the provision of additional first aid training will equip the Club with the necessary skills and knowledge should any incident occur. We currently have approximately 250 players and wish to encourage further players to join them.
FIRST AID As mentioned above we have secured funding to provide First Aid to our managers, volunteers and parents. A course is in the process of being arranged and will take place in January or February of next year. The course is the FA Emergency First Aid and will be held midweek 6.00pm till 9pm (date and venue to be confirmed). We have 24 places so if you wish to attend then please register your interest via e-mail to the Club Secretary Laura at Lozz71@aol.com
FA LEVEL 1 & 2 COACHING & REFEREES COURSE In addition to the First Aid course we are also planning to arrange FA Level 1 and 2 courses along with referee courses. If you wish to enrol on any of these courses then please register your interest via e-mail to the Club Secretary Laura at Lozz71@aol.com before 12th December 2008.
