ACTION SCHEDULE
Action schedule from previous meetings were discussed. Various actions were discharged and outstanding points will be carried forward and are available to view on the website. Please refer to the website for the most up to date version.
Managers were reminded that team photos and profiles need forwarding to Laura ASAP. This has been outstanding for quite some time. An email will be forwarded to managers who have outstanding consent forms.

CORRESPONDENCE
Receipt for the First Aid course was received. 2009 Development Programme was received from the FA that Laura distributed via email.
A letter was received from a new training centre based in Sheffield conducting training sessions only (costs involved) initially targeting the Under 9 age group – details were passed to this age group.

TREASURER'S REPORT
Allen informed everyone that there is currently £7700 in the bank. Bills are coming in and need paying and the First Aid has just been paid. Laura will contact the Coalfields Regeneration and see if they will allow us to utilise the remaining money allocated for the Level 1 to be utilised towards the cost of the Level 2.

SHEFFIELD MEETING
The meeting was cancelled due to the weather – The league forwarded via email the draw for the Under 9’s Cup & Trophy.

Next meeting to be attended by the Under 7’s – March 3rd.
Please see the website for the rota.

WEBSITE
Pete Norton who updates the website has been in touch and is looking to increase his price from £250 for the forthcoming season. Laura has been in touch with Pete with regards to alternative options. If we run the site ourselves and do the updates it will cost us approx £55 per year. Managers were asked their opinions and it was agreed that we proceed with the cheaper option. Pete will ensure that Laura has all software installed and pass on the relevant information. We will pay Pete up to the end of March and Laura will arrange to meet with him to see how the site is updated. Phil also volunteered to help with the maintenance/updates of the site.

GALA
The date of this years Gala is more than likely going to be early August.

LEVEL 1 & 2 and FUTSAL
Level 1 candidates are due to start their course shortly and as discussed earlier Laura will contact the Coalfields Regeneration to see if we can utilise some of the funding towards Level 2.
Allen discussed the Futsal training sessions and recommended managers try and attend one of these courses as they would be beneficial to training sessions.

APRILS MEETING
Due to the original date of Aprils meeting falling on Easter Monday the date has now been scheduled for Thursday 16th April – please make a note.

AOB
ADE – Notified everyone that the shin pad order had been placed. The company supplying them has asked if they can attend the Gala and everyone agreed this was okay.
ROBIN – Has only received the completed Fan plaque forms for some age groups. New forms were distributed. Outstanding teams are Under 10s, 11s, 13s and 14s. Please ensure that the forms are completed and returned ASAP please.
Discussions also took place over the pitches on Saturdays – NO training is allowed, although Barnsley Boys sometimes utilise the pitches for the odd game – these are always cleared with Chalkie. The ground is not exclusive for Redfearns Please remember that we pay fees for the use Milefield – this can be used at any time. As soon as winter training ceases please note that Redfearns is not an option to train as Chalkie needs to get the pitches prepared for the forthcoming season. The ground is not exclusive for Redfearns. Chalkie is going to roll the pitches Saturday and Ade is going to Milefield to check pitches on Wednesday. The Football Foundation may give money towards a new tractor – but we need to wait and see if we need to apply for money for the building first.
There as been a possibility of using Houghton Main pitch for the Under 17’s/18’s but this will mean taking players away from Redfearns.
ALLEN – Commented on the state of the walls – someone has thrown mud balls all over the walls – This behavior is not acceptable. Managers need to ensure their players respect property. As from now NO team is allowed to use the upstairs room – please use the downstairs changing room. It was also mentioned that the last team to play ensures that all ropes, flags and nets are taken down and put away tidy before leaving. Nets, poles etc were left up and one team has just dumped their nets in the doorway of the storage room.

Robin also discussed an ongoing disciplinary against a parent.

MEETING CLOSED AT 8.30 PM
