Notes from meeting:-
There was a story on “Calendar” yesterday about a club taking the S.H.F.A. to court regarding the refusal of permission to allow a girl to play in an U13 team. The proper explanation of this is that the F.A. are running pilot schemes regarding mixed gender games, but only in certain areas, We are NOT IN THE PILOT SCHEME, it is not in this area so at present it is not in our rule book, we are not allowed, don’t do it.
Rule book (rule 7?) states that the manager’s child protection cert. must be taken to every game, the certificate says it must be kept in a safe place, ---the certificate is correct, the rule book is wrong.
Players record books do not HAVE to be used, although a comprehensive record must be kept in some form including players personal details, players playing in any given week, scorers, etc. If record books are used please DO NOT take to games because of the nature of the information inside.
21st Sept. preliminary cup rounds, U11’s and U14’s.
1st round proper is on same day as the Sheffield Derby (Utd-Wed.)game which kicks off at 1315. Games must NOT be rearranged because of this game and in the in the instance of any reason not deemed to be valid the offending team will forfeit the game.
Next meeting to be attended by the Under 12’s – October 7th.
The new rota will is now available online.
