Football TrialsRedfearns J.F.C require players for the 2008/2009 season Trials Start 9th June onwardsRedfearns are a Charter Standard Development Club who play in the Sheffield & District Football League which is said to be the largest league in Europe. We provide the opportunity for youngsters to take part in football and other social activities in a safe and controlled environment. Facilities include: 2 sites, 6 football pitches, 2 Changing Rooms with Showers, a Team Talk Room, W.C, Snack Cabin, and Car Park. F.A qualified coaches. The ethos of our Football Club is to encourage, facilitate and promote playing the game of football in a safe and controlled environment, giving this opportunity to as many young people as possible between the ages of 6 and 16 who live in and around the Barnsley area. Through developing an affinity with the club and participation in football it is hoped we will promote a strong spirit of competitive sportsmanship and friendship. We fully support the current F.A. campaign to "Kick Racism Out Of Football" We are an inclusive club and as such we will not tolerate any racist, homophobic, anti religeon or any other form of discriminatory language or behaviour whatsoever. No dogs (other than guide dogs) are allowed in the sports ground. This is for reasons of Health and Safety, to safeguard against dog fouling on the playing areas - where our children play football.
